Part 31
It is a sad turn of events when a father or mother will abandon his or her child to possible death simply because the Watchtower of Jehovah’s Witnesses says it is Jehovah’s Law to refuse a blood transfusion!! Again, I repeat when one gives a transfusion, it is not a sacrifice of life nor is it the eating of forbidden blood; it is the transference of life! Anyone who has seen a loved one dying for lack of blood and has witnessed the disintegration of human life can appreciate the great good blood transfusions has had in medical history. Like All DENOMINATIONAL TEACHINGS, the proof that the Russellites made up this bogus doctrine is seen in the fact that before Nathan Homer Knorr announced his claim to fame by coming up with this new doctrine, Charles Taze nor Judge Rutherford ever heard of such a position!! Ever new leader has to BEST the last I guess. Pre-meditated murder comes in many forms, whether contrived within the mind of the murderer or taught, the results are the same; the innocent pay the price. I knew a Russellite whose wife gave in to love and when her husband had a massive heart attack agreed, while he was unconscious, to allow a transfusion that save his life. His payment for her love was to be kicked out of the Kingdom Hall he was a member for 10 years. In a medical report from WW 11, a Navy captain wrote: “6,000 pints of plasma went ashore with the Marines; 4,000 came back in the veins of wounded Marines..” The Bible never speaks against transfusion in any form, it would be irrational to even think it would; no one of the first century could or would ever have heard of such a thing!! They would have had no medical ability to accomplish such a feat!! It requires a science of blood types unknown and un-available to doctors of that time!!! Many women died in childbirth before transfusions became available hemorrhaging to death!! The gifts of blood permit operations today that would be totally impossible without such a surgical aid. The benefits of blood donation drives have been responsible for 1000’s of save lives from auto accidents, train wrecks, airplane crashes, and all types’ emergencies!! It is not the same as the transference of organs, limbs, of parts of the body from one to another, blood is a replenishing ability of the human body which, when given, NEVER causes the person who gave to be without for a long period of time.
In 1970 when a 5 year old boy with a serious congenital heart defect was brought to Massachusetts General Hospital, his Russellite parents would not allow transfusion. The doctors knew that the exhausted and short breathed baby would die, and chances that he would survive to adulthood were slim. The doctors came up with a solution, though. The drew 2 and ½ pints from the child into tree plastic bags that would remain connected to a blood vessel in the boy’s left arm. The blood technically NEVER left the boy’s body and could not be considered transfusion. To replace the blood during surgery, doctors administered 6 pints of a mild salt solution called Ringer’s lactate. When the surgeons had repaired the child’s heart, the blood in the plastic bags flowed back into the boy’s body; the lactate solution was excreted, normally. This new technique, using the patient’s blood, now is used and reduces the risk of hepatitis. It has been estimated that untold numbers of deaths that occur every year have been prevented. Some think this means Russellite doctrine has been justified!! No, no not at all; show me any thing in the plan of God that can be gotten around!! Can a person be sprinkled and not immersed? Never!!
Russellites refuse to salute the American flag, claiming it to be idolatry. They refuse to enter the military of any government claiming they are neutrals in earthly battles.

 

Part 32
The Church of Christ is not an impetus. By definition an impetus is an infectious weakening disease. This type disease works from the inside weakening the body so it cannot function. If we refused the military service demanded of our country, we would be a weakening agent from the inside. The Jehovah’s Witnesses demand that all their people stay away from the Armed Forces as they are “ambassadors of God’s kingdom…and, as such they are neutrals in earthly battles”. They also claim exemption from military service because they are ministers. They claim that joining the military effort of a country in which Witnesses live would result in the Witnesses “being guilty of desertion and suffering the punishment meted out by Almighty God”.
We are engaged today with a very clever enemy. They are a “different spirit” and masquerade to the world their “god of this world” as the answer to the spiritual and temporal problems of mankind. It is against this “spirit of confusion” Paul warned us about and which we are to strive to destroy. We are not “playing around” with the denominational world; we are out to destroy them!! The sad thing about the latest denominational cults is that they deny the doctrines of the Gospel: the trinity, the deity of Christ, the vicarious atonement, and the physical resurrection, by either changing the terminology to suit their own means, or by denying outright these great cardinal truths. Until the Church realizes the damnable doctrines of the Witnesses and Adventists teaching its own how to understand, defend, and defeat these lies; we will be left with a defenseless wooden ship in battle with a modern destroyer!! We have been commanded to ‘arm ourselves with the sword of the Spirit, putting on the whole armour of God, that we may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.”
You, I hope, will never attend a Russellite Kingdom Hall, but if you do, you will never see an offering plate passed!! They have what is called an “offering box” but there no envelopes. Newcomers at the Hall are struck with this difference between the way they run their churches and the money-hungering of other denominationalism. They like to quote some they have converted saying “in my church I felt like a dollar sign..”. What they do not tell you is the monies they rake in pushing their junk literature from door to door at no expense to themselves. Their people work FREE pushing that junk and are “kicked out of the Hall” if they do not make so many specified calls a week!! In the publishing plant in Brooklyn, their people work for $14 dollars a month salary. This means their overhead is nothing!! They will tell you “the Lord takes care of His own”, and send out their millions of books for the world to pay them a profit to buy. Sounds to me like the world is paying the bill for “the Lord to take care of His own!! Imagine, if you have over 1 MILLION volunteers devoting over 275 MILLION hours in one year without pay to sell a publication of yours printed by slave labor, the offering plate would be become a joke to what you were raking in!! Ford Motor does not have offering plates at their car stores, either!! We all could drive a new car if SOMEBODY ELSE WOULD PAY FOR IT!!
You will never see an elaborate Kingdom Hall. Their policy is not to waste money on grandiose buildings. Most Halls have a membership of fewer than 200. When they get over this number, another Kingdom Hall is built in a bordering community. Their “presiding ministers” are there to make sure their membership fulfills its “quota system” on door to door peddling as their “fulfillment of dedication”!! If they don’t fulfill their goals, they are kicked out of the Hall!!

 

Part 33
The Russellites have a very complex organization. Overall, the Russellites are run out of their world headquarters in Brooklyn, New York. They have under them the 100+ branches world-wide. Within these branches there are over 57,000 congregations and 150,000 special full-time representatives. Every congregation is assigned specific boundaries of operation. Each year the President of the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society, if he cannot visit, sends one of his zone servants. The circuit servant visits each congregation three times a year. Each circuit servant is responsible for up to 16 congregations. All the congregations in that specific circuit assemble twice a year, at which time they are visited by the District servant. The District servant reaches some 10-12 circuits yearly. The District servant reports to the branch office which reports to the international headquarters at Brooklyn. None of their hierarchy report to God! One has to recognize you must peddle a lot of books, literature, and keep the “servants” making their personal calls to make up the money needed for this massive organization!!
Each congregation has a “presiding minister” or sometimes referred to as the “congregation servant or overseer”. His duties are to see that all those living in the territory assigned to the congregation are aided to “fulfill their dedication” in the “manner acceptable to God”, that is they had better be ringing those door-bells!! They usually prey on the ignorant and unread during the hours most people are in some form of worship. They have “ministerial servants” who are the assistants. They keep individual records on each “fulfillment of dedication” each member makes, how many books they sell, and how many they “cause to be a child of Hell worse than before”. All Russellites are ministers and to train their “prospects”, they take them with them to conduct home Bible(?) studies (this is why when they run into someone who can handle the scriptures, they immediately flee). They use printed sermons which are ordered by the “literature servant”. Anyone who has entered into a discussion on Bible truths with a Russellite will recognize they are “programmed” to come up with stock answers that follow a set pattern. When asked a question that deviates from their patterned program, they stop talking or leave. I always like to ask them if they have the latest doctrine from Brooklyn when they stop at my house!
It is mandatory that those who “fulfill their dedication” cover their area of distribution each issue of The Watchtower and Awake magazines. You guessed it, the “Magazine-Territory Servant” assigns each who “fulfill their dedication” their area. Neither presiding Ministers nor his assistants are paid. The Accounts Servant (are you getting confused with all these “servants”) is responsible for paying expenses entailed with maintaining Kingdom Halls and or paying for the literature ordered from Brooklyn headquarters. Each congregation has “pioneers”. These are they who spend at least 150 hours or more “fulfilling their dedication”. Every Russellite MUST go to a one hour indoctrination study each week and the “fully dedicated” must “go to school for life” as they enroll in the Theocratic Ministry School which meets one night a week (usually it is the same night). A monthly pamphlet issued from Brooklyn headquarters guides their “study” for the week and is really like a “sales tip sheet” to help them meet their quota in sales and door-to-door lying. If you stacked all the books the Russellites make each year one on top of the other, it would stack over 450 times the height of the Empire State Building in New York City!!

 

Part 34
Unless you have further questions about this false religion, this will probably be the last of this series. There are many weeks work to gather, study, and weed through all the false doctrine they teach (they are inventing new falsities even now) and we MUST be prepared to help anyone who has fallen prey to their error; so our study.
One of the first tings one might point out to the Jehovah’s Witnesses is that Jesus has a title they have denied. He has said in many places of His Word; “I Am the first and last, the beginning and the end.” It would be good to remind them Jesus IS NOT THE SECOND as they teach. Claiming Him to be created by God, the Father, they deny His claim to be THE FIRST!! Next, Christ is not an angelic being!! He created ALL species, He is God!! God, the Father says of Him: “He is so much better than the angels as He hath obtained a more excellent name than they.” Hebrews 1:1-8 To assert, as they teach, that Christ is Michael the arch-angel, comes from another of their man-made doctrines hatched in Hell and promulgated from the Watch Tower Tract and Bible Society in Brooklyn, New York!! Christ did not BEGIN TO BE He has ALWAYS BEEN!! He was not the angel, Michael, then a man, then Jesus of Nazareth, then an elevated angel, elevated to Son-ship to God, as they teach. “And His name shall be Immanuel”. Immanuel in the Hebrew literally means God with us, it cannot infer He who is now an angel will someday become a God!! Christ was God incarnate. Incarnation is from the Latin meaning “becoming flesh”. The doctrine of the incarnation teaches that the eternal Son of God became God in a human body without diminishing any of His nature in any manner or degree!!
He is “from everlasting to everlasting”. Micah 5:2 Literally, in the Hebrew, that means existing from eternity past. Don’t ask them about the past eternity, they have not figured out the one we are now in!! Jesus was NOT “born again” at the baptism of John as they teach, to be “born again” one has to commit sin and no man can bring that accusation against Him!! They have lied, He tells the truth!!
The word “trinity” is an abbreviated word in Latin for tri-unity. It does not deny a complex mystery taught by God, it describes a nature far above our abilities to comprehend. The word “God” does not describe a being, it describes a nature. There are three that possess that nature. The Holy Spirit and Christ are also possessors of the God-nature!! Acts 5:4 To teach that the Holy Spirit is neither God nor a person as they write in their book, Let Your Name Be Sanctified, page 269, should make the person peddling this doctrine nervous if they ever read Matthew 12:31-32.
When Christ returns there will be NO 1,000 year reign in Jerusalem for the earth will dis-integrate in thermo-nuclear fusion with fire and be dissolved back into the elements from which Christ brought her into existence. The “Great Company”, as they call them, will have no place to live!! Those who need not be “born again” because they can never go to Heaven, are called the “Great Company, Jonadabs, Great Crowd, the Other Sheep, or Great Multitude” (or what ever other name they give them) are the soul-less Russellites that will never be able to go to Heaven!! There are NO “signs of the times” that they and their denominational buddies teach about, this would deny the oft stated fact that Christ must return as a thief. So, you arm yourself for the “battle of Armageddon” in vain, there will be no place to have this battle and moms, you will not have to worry about you sons participating in the “final rebellion” (this is the final great battle of the millennium) for that battle was fought 2000 years ago on the tree of Calvary and WON!!
